The Ministry of Tourism and Immigration, formerly known as National Tourism Department, was created in 1998, by Premier Pedro Aguiar, who was an enthusiast of tourism. Since then, it has been giving all kinds of information to all sorts of visitors that wish to come to this great Island of ours. The Holy Empire of Reunion receives, annualy, more tourists and immigrants than Its own population. They come for our beautiful landscapes, interesting ruins, great forests and adorable beaches. Also, the MTI is the government authority responsible for giving visas ( VTT, for tourists who wish to subscribe to one of the Chandon Mailing Lists ) and Réunian citizenship to those who ask for. In order to be a subject of His Holy, Imperial Majesty, you must fill out the CITIZENSHIP FORM and answer some questions of the RÉUNIAN COMMON KNOWLEDGE TEST (ENCAFI), soon to be available in this website. Here you can also check out the Official Maps and photos of our Empire and Its Royal District, Imperial Territories and Hereditary Captaincies. If you happen to need any further information, please contact the Minister of Tourism and Immigration at this e-mail address . We will soon make our citizenship form available on the English language; we recommend that you use any of the free translators available on the internet. Last Updated: December 11th, 2003 |
