DECRETO IMPERIAL NÚMERO 0052A-1998

OF THE IMPERIAL INSTITUTE OF POLLS AND STATISTICS
DO INSTITUTO IMPERIAL DE PESQUISA E ESTATÍSTICA

       "I, the Lord Protector of the Holy Empire of Reunion, Pedro Aguiar, on

behalf of His Holy Imperial Majesty Emperor Cláudio I, on this Twenty-Fourth

day of the month of September of the year one thousand, one hundred and

ninety eight of Our Lord, announce that it is His Will and pleasure to decree, 

in behalf of Our Almighty God and of the good people of this Holy Empire:





- It is is hereby created the Imperial Institute of Polls and Statistics (IPE), to that take

charge of researching the most important aspects of political, social and economic life in 

the Empire, as well as opinion polls on the most diverse subjects.



- That this Official Organism will have its results and reports added to the Official Public

Archive of the Government, as well as publicized by the Reunian News Agency.




- That it will be administred by the Moderative Power.



- That its reports will represent the official statistics of the Empire.



All contrary dispositions are revoked.

Quatro dias do mês de setembro do Ano do Senhor de mil novecentos e

noventa e oito, anuncio que é Sua Vontade e prazer de decretar, em nome

de Deus Nosso Senhor e do Bom Povo deste Sacro Império:





- Que por meio desta se cria o Instituto Imperial de Pesquisa e Estatística (IPE), para 

responsabilizar-se pela pesquisa dos mais importantes aspectos da vida política, social 

e ecobômica do Império, bem como pesquisas de opinião sobre os mais variados assuntos.



- Que esse Órgão Oficial terá seus resultados e relatórios adicionados ao Arquivo Público 

Oficial do Governo, bem como publicados pela Agência Reuniana de Notícias.



- Que ele será administrado pelo Poder Moderador.



- Que seus relatórios representarão as estatísticas oficiais do Império.



Revogam-se todas as disposições em contrário.
